Iām half finished clearing brambles & nettles from the north side of my garden, where it borders the forest. If you have weeds to clear or things to tidy up, now is the time to do it before the first frost, which will make the ground too hard (think your pants when you see me š). Picking weeds by hand is good for your garden eco system and it means you can be discerning! For example, I never pull up all the nettles, as the Red Admiral and Peacock Butterflies rely on them as a food source š¦
