Rode in the trailer with mom and baby. Got back to the pasture to tend to chores and finally home. Cooking dinner the vet called just now. Momma took a turn for the worse. Ripped uterus and/or colon. Irreparable and she has to be put down for internal bleeeding. I’m exhausted. Upset and I still have to tell my son his horse isn’t going to make it. She was our best kid horse and loved by all. It’s a sad day for us all and I’m sorry I haven’t responded to all the DMs. I will get to them tomorrow 😞😔
