I will never forget the animals and their people who come in search of help and guidance. My face was wet when I did my bow, but my heart was at ease. I have visited a few times to say little goodbyes. Here in Japan, when things come to a end, often times one will return to pay their respects in a bow, prayer, or soft conversation to the establishment.
