Hi everyone. I've made a conscious effort not to talk about my personal life the last few years, but I'm currently in a stressful, time consuming situation which I feel without y'all having the context of, might cause some to perceive me as lazy, absent, whatever. As y'all know I begin moving next week. It is a long distance move. This wasn't something I wanted to disclose, but at this point I feel is necessary so people get how busy and time consuming this is. And the reason isn't a happy or fun one. I initially just wanted to share the news of the move so y'all knew what was up, but not share sad info. The reality is my partner's mother who has been battling cancer on and off since 2016 learned a few months ago the chemo from this most recent bout wasn't helping her. The future is unknown and she hasn't been doing well. The purpose of our move is to be close to her to spend time with her, help her (and his dad), and be there to assist if things progress to the worst one day. The place I am leaving I lived in for many years, the longest I've ever lived anywhere as an adult. Packing and getting ready has been an exhaustinf undertaking, all while being an emotional support outlet for my partner who has been hurting with this recent news of his mom's health. I've been stretched thin, and its been hard to keep a tight schedule on things like custom videos which I am usually very timely about. As things typically go, somehow like 6 of you bought a custom video on the same day last week, and I am drowning in responsibility. I will not flake on any of you, but I sure am running behind schedule. And if you want to help alleviate some of the stress and tell me its okay to take a bit longer on your custom, that'd be helpful. But I respect if you want your product you paid for asap. I get it. I'm business. I'm going to have a gap of no internet because the place I am moving Spectrum (current provider) doesn't exist. But my new place is far enough away I can't schedule internet installation until I am present in the house, and its not somewhere I can easily get to ahead of time to spend a day waiting for a provider to show up in a vague timeframe. We have to move multiple truckloads before we can then move the 3 cats, which will be a couple days of back and forth long distance travel. There is a lot on my plate, I am stressed, and I am tired. Please know I am trying right now. I do not mean to be behind on my responsibilities to you. I understand people with vanilla jobs can't just go at their own space and please understand I get that and I appreciate the flexibility this job provides me. I do need to pay for bills though, which is why I've been doing IRL vanilla oddjobs like housecleaning for cash, which also exhausts my current stressed time and energy. The physical move begins late next week. My hopes are to get several customs I owe done this weekend, but for a few of you I know that means waiting another 5 or so days when you likely expected your video today. I'm also behind in replying to DMs and trust me I am trying so hard to catch up. So yeah, thats where things are. Thank you for your patience.
