Hey there, my fellow warriors. My Military background came with plenty of “lessons learned.” One crucial lesson learned was staying physically fit and training like a beast. This kept me and my teammates alive. We all depended on each other to pull our own weight. If my teammate went down and I wasn’t fit enough to carry them, they possibly would have died, it’s that simple. Without being physically fit, I wouldn't be here today, as there were many close calls in which being physically fit and staying lethal was a make or breaking point. During my time in the Navy, I had the shared vital responsibility of ensuring maritime security and protecting innocent lives. We faced the danger of pirates lurking off the Horn of Africa, but our rigorous training and unwavering vigilance allowed us to shut down their attempts and keep our fellow seafarers safe. It was a wake-up call, emphasizing the importance of physical fitness and self-defense skills in life-or-death situations. I remember waking up at the crack of down to run on the treadmill on the ship, while the ships rocking back and forth, followed up by a set up pushups, pull-ups, and ab workouts. Sometimes me and my shipmates would switch it up and do light sparring on the flight deck with punching bags. It doesn't have to be much, keep it stupid simple. Hope you're ready for more!
